The Cherry Tree Room

Cherry trees rarely grow above 1,850 m. In Estoul a long time ago they cut one down to build the school desks. Personally I like its autumn hue. When I was a child, the goats managed to climb up from their pens downstairs and get into this room. They climbed up through the collapsed part of the house, some of them would stick their heads out of the window as if they wanted to find out if the weather would soon turn fine and they’d once again be set free.
